An interactive experience where children can bring their imagination to life and make new friends.
The Exhibit
The Interactive Gallery
Best (Imaginary) Friends Forever is a creative project that aims to connect children aged 5-11 with creativity and address the lack of social interaction and play many children have experienced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. B(I)FF will be held at the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam and will utilize digital technology to allow children to create 2-D characters similar to imaginary friends. Children will be able to interact with their own and others creations alongside each other via large screens on the walls of the event space.
COVID-19 Response
This public event aims to create opportunities for connection by building a shared space that inspires creativity and wonder amongst children who have had to mostly stay at home for the last year and a half.

The launch date is set for July 2022, keeping in mind that we intend for the event to take place when COVID protocols related to social distancing are no longer in place.
Multimedia Demo
Similar to the example below children who attend the event will be able to create their own illustrations. Then using motion capture technology the children's own drawings come to life as they move.
